Today, I participated in all my lectures.

Well, I passed the last semester (congratulations for me).
I would like to share my grades, if you don’t mind. First of all I got very good in three subjects; also I got good in four subjects and pass in one subject. In total they are eight subjects.

I got: good in History; very good in Dictionary; good in Drama; good in Poetry; very good in Comparative Literature; good in Latin; pass in criticism; very good in French.

So I want to be free today and I will study tomorrow.

P.S. Thank God I passed the last semester.

Today was an awesome day for me. I had three lectures as always.

First, I will talk about my second lecture, American Literature. This lecture was great. I raised my hand most of the time, answered the questions; I even read out loud. Afterwards, I was very pleased and felt so accomplished. As an update, we finished Death of the Salesman and we are going to start with Sonny’s Blues next week.

Then in the third lecture, Linguistic Theory, is the lecture I don’t normally raise my hand in. However, today I raised my hand and I wasn’t even sitting in the first row during the lecture (this semester I started to sit in the first row in all my lectures). I asked two questions and the Ph.D. answered both of them.

I would like to share another thing with you if you don’t mind. Today, I called my friend and asked her about a game on Facebook (I have a Facebook account) that she is playing nowadays called Criminal Case. I played it for a little short time and I enjoyed it so much. Threads of Mystery is another favorite of mine but I haven’t played it in awhile. I guess, when I am free I will play both of them.

Now, I must leave so I can read “Lord of the Flies” as I didn’t get a chance to read it yesterday.

A lot of things to do today

Yesterday, I went to college at 8:00 AM; even though I knew that I didn’t have any lectures at 8.
All I wanted was to study in the same classroom where I have my Lectures to study for my quiz. I took my quiz at 10:00 AM. It was a nice quiz and hope that I will get good marks for it.
Then I had a translation lecture during which I raised my hand and answered some questions. When I returned back from college I completed the translation assignment and send it to the Ph.D. by e-mail that’s why I didn’t have time to write a note book entry (T_T).

Today, I didn’t do anything yet; I am going to study after posting this.
The things I should do today are:

Summarize “Linguistic theory”

Read “Death of a salesman”

Read “Animal Farm”

Read the first 4 chapters of “Lord of the flies”

Read “Sonny’s Blues”

So, I need to leave now so I can finish all of these things.

What a day

Today was a normal day until I returned back home from college.

First all, I had three lectures just like last Thursday. The first two lectures were taught by the assistants of the Ph.D.

And then I had my last lecture (Novel) and the Ph.D. has finished with us “Animal Farm” and next week we will start with “Lord of the flies”.

When I returned back home, I found that my grandfather (the father of my father) died. And we are going to bury him tomorrow.

Goodbye Grandfather, God bless your soul.

Today, I had three lectures.

In the first lecture (Pragmatic and discourse), I summarized the chapters I took in my notebook at home beforehand and they were very useful today. The Ph.D. gave us an exercise and told us to apply the terms that we took to the exercise.

In the second lecture (American Literature), the Ph.D. revised with us what she said in the previous lectures because we will have our first quiz on Monday; then we moved to our first play which is “The Death of the salesman” by Arthur Miller.

In the third lecture (linguistic theory), it was a normal lecture.

Now, I am reading “Animal Farm”.

Today was a big day for me.

I had the same lectures just like last Monday. The only things that happened to me today are:

In the first lecture (Linguistic Theory), I had a presentation. I was talking about (explaining) Bond Morphemes (Derivational and Inflectional morphemes). I was really nervous and somehow I was stiff, but at the end it went well (Thank God!).

In the second lecture (American Literature), well the Ph.D. asked us to search about “The American Dream”, so I searched the Internet I got most of the information from Helium and yahoo voices; well because none of the articles contained all the ideas that I wanted. I took some points related to the course I am taking from every article and re-arranged it according to my point of view.

What I want to say is that I didn’t write the source form which I took the information (I know this is wrong); because Ph.D. didn’t tell us that she will take it from us. But when I raised my hand to talk about “The American Dream” I told the Ph.D. that I read a lot of articles and I selected paragraphs from them and formed an essay but I wasn’t the one who wrote it I just took the ideas related to the course and arrange it. By the end of the lecture I told the Ph.D. the websites from which I took the information. Of course she gave me tips that I really enjoyed.

The only reason that I didn’t mention the source was because there isn’t enough time in the lecture to read the source of each paragraph and sentences, but if the Ph.D. asked us to do a paper about “The American Dream” of course I would have written the source.

Then I had my last lecture (Translation) it was group work and I really enjoyed it.
