I'm a 20 year-old girl from Egypt. I study English literature at Ain Shams (eye of the sun) university here in Cairo. I love my major because I like reading A LOT. I want to travel the world and take photos and I like anything beautiful and watch movies, listen to music. I like being happy. I focus on the good things in life, and I have an inner child that I'm not ashamed of showing. Two things I l♥ve: Candy & Babies. I believe in fairy tales. I believe there's good in everybody. It just takes more digging to find it, in some people than others. I believe you must seek to understand before you seek to be understood. I won't allow ill-manners towards me or any of my friends. Got it? My mama always says "one should make friends wherever they go." so, HELLO NEW FRIEND! :D I'm very open-minded person. I care for my friends, and along with my family, they make the most important things in my life. I only ask for two things, be respectable and mature.

I can’t remember how I spent my time on the computer before tumblr. All I know is I’m glad I made one (even though I’ve spent so much time on it). :D
Every time you reach some happiness, it seems that life pushes you back to sadness again. Just keep pushing the bar towards happiness! It’ll get easier eventually. c:

Finally, the grades of the last semester came out today.
Today, I participated in all my lectures.
Well, I passed the last semester (congratulations for me).
I would like to share my grades, if you don’t mind. First of all I got very good in three subjects; also I got good in four subjects and pass in one subject. In total they are eight subjects.
I got: good in History; very good in Dictionary; good in Drama; good in Poetry; very good in Comparative Literature; good in Latin; pass in criticism; very good in French.
So I want to be free today and I will study tomorrow.
P.S. Thank God I passed the last semester.

Today was an awesome day for me. I had three lectures as always.
First, I will talk about my second lecture, American Literature. This lecture was great. I raised my hand most of the time, answered the questions; I even read out loud. Afterwards, I was very pleased and felt so accomplished. As an update, we finished Death of the Salesman and we are going to start with Sonny’s Blues next week.
Then in the third lecture, Linguistic Theory, is the lecture I don’t normally raise my hand in. However, today I raised my hand and I wasn’t even sitting in the first row during the lecture (this semester I started to sit in the first row in all my lectures). I asked two questions and the Ph.D. answered both of them.
I would like to share another thing with you if you don’t mind. Today, I called my friend and asked her about a game on Facebook (I have a Facebook account) that she is playing nowadays called Criminal Case. I played it for a little short time and I enjoyed it so much. Threads of Mystery is another favorite of mine but I haven’t played it in awhile. I guess, when I am free I will play both of them.
Now, I must leave so I can read “Lord of the Flies” as I didn’t get a chance to read it yesterday.
